OK I love the bike and there has been no problem until now. I have something starting and I am not sure how bad it is. It seems to only happen in second gear but I will pay attention and try to figure this out. I have just over 16,000 miles and overthing seems to be running smoothly. Although under HARD acceleration in second gear up between 8000 to 10000 rpm I feel what I will describe as a slip. Something does not feel right. Now I have been on this bike a while and have not noticed anything like this until recently. I have the marble mod in the airbox is the only mod I have done lately. I wonder if my chain is slipping, is the engine cutting out? Is something else slipping? Is this a clutch problem? Has anyone else experienced this. I am pretty sure this is not wheel spin. But I am starting to worry. It is a limited 2004 model. Everything else seems great except for this. Thanks for any help.
